@ambivalena There are a number of traditions across the UK of standing stones either bring petrified people, or coming to life at certain times of year. The tall standing stones at Callanish, which this looks a little similar to, are known in Gaelic as 'Fir Bhreig', the false men.

#silentSunday@Alternatecelt Ah OK. I'm often tempted to stop off at Carlingwark when I'm heading to work in Dumfries on a morning - but I'd never make it in if I wondered off with my camera.
I keep meaning to go and do photos around Dalry and Glenkens too, such a lovely place.
