Simple solution@fell Hey! Yes, this one is already written (scenario only, art will be made next monday+tuesday) and will be the one for next week if nothing more important in the news interrupts this theme.

News from the Kickstarter campaign to print Pepper&Carrot books 1 to 4 in English and Italian: it's going well after three days!@creideiki @landelare True, I wish here they had a single 'reward' for the English artbook at 12€. It's a product the French owner of the Glénat version with already the four books don't have and could be a good deal with the shipping cost from Italy. I'll try to tell them about it, maybe something they can put it later on their regular eshop.

News from the Kickstarter campaign to print Pepper&Carrot books 1 to 4 in English and Italian: it's going well after three days!@montaropdf Hey, it's not a version Silly Studios wants to make because another publisher does it way better: check the version printed by Glénat in France. It's in all bookstore and online shop at 11,50€ , with a larger format, deeper color and better paper and hardcover.
A price/quality only a big publisher like Glénat can get with the volume they sell (Book 1 crossed the x10 re-printing) -
News from the Kickstarter campaign to print Pepper&Carrot books 1 to 4 in English and Italian: it's going well after three days!@landelare Same. Even the way multiple books are presented. They could really simplify things, imo.

News from the Kickstarter campaign to print Pepper&Carrot books 1 to 4 in English and Italian: it's going well after three days!@proedie Yes, 12€ the softcover and €52 for the five (book 1 - 4 and Artbook) so less than 10,50€ , hard to beat, especially within Europe (the shipping cost are excluded, so think of this additional cost too).
I got bad luck with the print-on-demand auto published version I manage: their print booth closer to Europe is in England, and since Brexit, the price of paper and export made the whole deal really bad. The hardcover is at $26.99 right now (edit: when I launched, it was 18$ afair)...

News from the Kickstarter campaign to print Pepper&Carrot books 1 to 4 in English and Italian: it's going well after three days!Edit: I removed the "already in hardcover" part of my message because I just saw on the Ks page it will be unlocked after crossing 4K €, and the campaign is not there yet (src. see Stretch Goals on the table of content of the page). Sorry for the inaccuracy, and I love the "edit button" here to offer me to fix things like that.

It was fully funded in just a few hours, and the artbook tier has now been unlocked. Great!

Transmitting Everything You Say@papush_ For the weekly, yes. In background I'm still in the production of a Pepper&Carrot episode that has nothing to do with AI.
I understand that this theme feels annoying for those who wants to just stop this topic.
But understand that for me, with all the last 20 years of my artworks they trained without my consent, my art style, and all, I feel powerless. Making comic to mock it is my way to cope with that, it's therapeutic.
I promise I'll do something else once I'm done with it. -
Transmitting Everything You Say@MrBelles Haha, maybe the frog prince was on this bath, who knows

Transmitting Everything You Say@Linebyline I totally agree, this is a good point.
For sure, I think LLM-generated alt text should only be used as, eg. , a quick placeholder text to fill up an editing text-area, requiring a human to post-fix it. I strongly wish the output of any LLM should never go into public or production unsupervised. A human should always be required in the last chain of the process with a strong expertise on the task to critic, rewrite, adapt and make it better. -
Transmitting Everything You Say@Sobex For sure, having her in her late years of study could be an advantage if I decide to show other students, and their relation with their Avian Intelligence later. So, I'm not closing this door. I'll see, writing is difficult, and sometime I have to take direction for a good 4 panels and... the lore will follow later

Transmitting Everything You Say@tiredbun @voxel I hope I'll can draw enough episodes in this mini series to explore many issues (addiction/psychosis/and more) on user side and be able to land a conclusion aligned with something that was really well expressed on this toot: https://lgbtqia.space/@alice/115845072659379702 , something nuanced.
I hope by the end, the Gothic Sorceress will have a responsible usage of it, and maybe her own 'local' one. Maybe even themed like a crow. I'll see, so many things to draw to reach this point! I'm working on it.
