@tante I agree; it needs reform but it shouldn’t be abolished or even substantially weakened. Aversion to copyright is one of the big blind spots of the current left: Eroding it overwhelmingly benefits the right-wing in general and predatory corporations such as Alphabet in particular, by devaluing labor. We can’t “leftistly” stick it to any of these companies by denying people payment for their work. David Golumbia vindicated again. #books
