It seems from the outside that achieving a certain "look" is a sort of purity test for MAGA women. In the same way that other cults require certain looks from their women - often it's more along the lines of skin and hair covered, but in this case it's big long fake hair, fake teeth, fake lips, fake nose, fake cheeks, thick makeup, impossible skinny. I am constantly shocked that Leavitt is only 28.

If it felt more nitpicky and less emphatic, like a university professor, I'd feel more suspicious it was intelligent. I *know* I'm not right all the time. I *want* to be corrected. Sycophancy creeps me out.
