Here is Aurich's last post saying the article was pulled and they're going to be investigating, but there probably won't be any answers until Monday and they'll update readers then.

@petergleick I don't know... it has some pretty stiff competition with the long running destruction of the NY Times brand and whatever is happening at CBS now.

@Npars01 @GossiTheDog That's about control. When people didn't need aid, or it was being provided and overseen by the government, they had little control over people's behavior.
Now that they're in charge of the philanthropy they can set the rules. They decide who is worthy of it, and the way those people must behave:
You must attend church 7 days a week. You can only read from this selected list.
