Also in the midst of all this I looked into adding HACS to HomeAssistant and bailed immediately when it wanted me to grant it access to my GitHub account.
Is that seriously something people do? Or maybe they have a burner GitHub account they use with it? Or people don't have anything important in their GitHub accounts?
I cannot fathom granting *anything* that sort of privilege.
So HACS is not for me. Anything it can do, I can do manually.
