A sphinx moth came to slurp at a desert lily as we were watching the sunset over the Anza Borrego badlands.Also found the smallest flowers ever and an ant just decided to walk into the photo. Lots of flowers around, although it’s not like a superbloom level.

Moon and Mercury setting next to the Griffith Observatory just moments ago.@heluecht it can be more sideways here too, the moon wobbles all over the place really. You could catch it flat like this from Germany, which is actually at the same latitude as California, just depends on what the moon is up to that evening.
