@mpjgregoire @mike we could and should strengthen our ties with our Commonwealth allies. But when push comes to shove, Canadians will need to dig deeper than ever before to defend our homeland and defeat the American invaders. It will be our fight to fight, fundamentally no different than it is for the Ukrainians: they take all the risks and suffer dreadful losses while their allies send them cash and weapons. If that sounds hopeless to anyone, read up on the histories of peoples defending their homelands (spoiler: they rarely lose).
