And so the sun set on our twentieth anniversary.
Our lobster dinner was perfect. We worked on it together as sort of our gift to each other.
One after dinner slow dance later we are ready to tackle another year.
It is hard to express my gratitude to whoever or whatever decides our destiny. I know finding a life partner who shares my likes, dislikes and convictions isn't a given but especially in today's world it is a blessing to find all of those things in one old dude.
Looking forward to year twenty one and next year's dinner and dance.

Today is our anniversary.Today is our anniversary.
An excuse to celebrate the day we had a weak moment and tied the knot at a cheesy chapel in Reno.
We had been an item for many years.
I'm not sure what inspired us but one morning at breakfast my husband said we should get married today. I said I didn't pack for a wedding. He said he knew that I could find my way around a department store.
Hours later I was married for the last time.
So today we revisit that spontaneous event and evaluate the outcome.
Was it a good idea?
I think it worked out.
I hope he thinks so too.
Summer says hell yes it was a good idea!
Now can we go to the beach?
Summer is always right. -

Very strange last few days.Very strange last few days. When I'm sick it feels like our little world goes a little sideways.
Yesterday, My husband and Summer went off to spend a couple of days with two friends. These three have been close friends for seventy years even going all the way through school together.
Now they all have significant health issues and want to hang out and reminice while they are all still able.
Everyone promised to quarantine before so they wouldn't have to mask.
Now, I understand that we define quarantine differently and that the friends have just stayed away from sick people.
Ugh.
I will have to mask at home for the next week.
Summer says none of this is her fault but she got to play with two friendly dogs so she's happy.
I hope, hope, hope that it all works out and no one gets sick including me.
Good morning, Mastodon.

We are doing better today. We are doing better today.
I really think that the antibiotics I started are helping.
I get worn out easily though.
Our middle grandson went shopping with me this morning and didn't let me pick up anything heavy. I could have gone on my own but he is good company.
It must have been his day to spend quality time with grandma because later he took me to the protest I was determined to attend.
I was only able to stay out in the cold for an hour but we were both glad we showed up.
Now it's time to get warm and get some rest. -
Success!Success!
I turned down the steroids but will take antibiotics for the next ten days.
I am so hopeful and looking forward to feeling healthier. -
Wild morning around here.Wild morning around here.
I woke up with an ear ache.
I'm pretty sure that the infection I thought was getting much better needs oral antibiotics. I see the doctor early this afternoon.
My husband has an appointment with his oncologist this morning.
Ants have invaded my kitchen.
Probably going to be quiet on this front today.
Good morning, Mastodon.
