@npr @all-things-considered-npr its funny how some people believed that there were anti-coup systems or groups, or at least functioning checks and balances in the state that would immediately send MPs in, arrest every trumpist, lock them up, try them, and be done with this entire seditious mess, but here we are with most of those military elements just fiddling with their thumbs, deploying on domestic soil for political reason, just whatever.
