Most of the 'children need protecting from all these terrible ideas ' types aren't even parents, I keep noticing ( or have grandkids)
Kids are pretty perceptive, and if you actually tried talking to a 10 year old you might be surprised at how quickly they can catch up to speed on subjects and converse on them. Treating them like they cannot possibly think, or be taught, is so deeply strange. It takes like 10 minutes to give them a basic grounding in economic theory and Marx .

@edsudden it's impressive that the news stations and papers are just fully 'oh they said they are stopping being as bad, therefore everything is fine forever ', not even slightly thinking that maybe once again these repeated liars are lying because they always are.

I still keep trying to think of any reason, at all, to put a data center in orbit. Obviously musk is going for stock but Nvidia also said something about this a year ago ( or was it someone else?).
It's literally the dumbest possible idea to the point where I tried to figure out if relativity helps at all since time would move faster (short answer - not nearly enough).
Heat, power, size, latency, repairability - there's genuinely no upside
