It feels like the Goldfinches are getting a little more vibrant, and some Starlings are getting yellow beaks. These are little whispers of spring but all of that is wishful thinking. It is February, there is still lots of snow, and it is still bitter cold. One fun thing about this weather? Tons and tons of Cardinals. Today I counted eight. Fun surprise after checking cams this morning - Owlie was back! Somehow it reminds me of a cozy kitty It was there at 6.40 pm, which is a bit nuts to me. Roughly 12 hours later, the Juncos and a Cardi opened the buffet. I recommend to unmute. Be safe out there, it's very wintery. #positivity
