i should be working. instead i am shopping wi-fi routers because i am sick to death of the AT&T-provided device.
pretty low-bar criteria, so you'd think this might be easy.

but the OpenWRT forums are basically like, "my friend, prepare to suffer."
maybe i should just be seeking brands to *avoid* instead.
