Adaptation is 100% necessary
Most adaptation plans are way behind schedule
This is all coming at us faster than expected
We are completely unprepared
And there is also this
ALL adaptation has limits

We are officially in the Age of Climate Chaos at ~1.5ºC
At the current decadal heating trajectory we will reach 2ºC in the next ~12 years.
We are completely and UTTERLY unprepared.
This headline should anger everyone as the largest CO2 polluter is set to solidify its position as such and torpedo efforts to cut emissions.
We are racing through 1.5ºC of heating and will likely cross 2ºC in the late 2030's at current heating rates.
This is a crime against all life on earth!
