This entire thread speaks loudly to me. I doubt anyone will read through it but its important. phnt makes a really well thought-out post backed with references and some has-been gnu-social dis-infuluencer just disregards it, but I digress, that isn't the point.

If there's ever a major schism in the fediverse, normies versus shitposters, hugbox versus shit-talk, mainstream versus "dark" fedi, I'm going to fall on the dark side. No matter how much of a peace-loving, respectful, freedom loving, universally-accepting person I am, I'm never going to meet the purity tests of police-state ass, centralized-block-list ass, please-protect-me-from-slurs ass brainrot that exists on the internet. This is partially because I think everyone could stand to toughen up a little but primarily because These Fucking People want freedom without any responsibility. They want to fuck the cake but not taste cum.

Take some fucking agency in your lives, *read*, and stop reacting immediately. Evan embarrasses himself, discredits the projects he's associated with, and cements his ass-showing ignorant bullshit capitalistic ass stance.
