I remember a single time the temp reached -20 during a blizzard. I went for a walk with our Labrador. We had the time of our lives, until i sank into a drift up to my armpits. I called her over (they have webbed paws and do not really sink in the snow) and grabbed her collar, and told her "moosh" and she pulled as hard as she could, getting me up just enough that I could worm my way back to where it was just knee deep....

It is so profoundly strange to experience my country, Denmark, being threatened by The United States — especially when you think of how much Americans and Danes have in common.@randahl @elCelio tbf i think most Danes are ashamed of that particular part of ww2, the shortness of the fight. But when that's said, please consider: we managed to save 95% of the Danish Jews from the Holocaust, and as Randahl stated: just because our politicians waved the white flag very quickly did not mean the Nazis did not have a lot of problems with the populace sabotaging them as often as they could manage.
