I don’t know if it’s at other Superstore shops, but the Superstore in my town gives seniors a 10% discount on Thursdays. I have started calling it “Take Your Senior To Shop Day” and make sure I go grocery shopping with my mum.

Today, I had a FANTASTIC run of deals. Superstore does price matching, so I bought the big tub of Heluva Good Onion dip. Normal price: $7.99. I was able to price match No Frills, where is was $3.99.

Next, and this was unexpected, there was a manufacturers coupon on the fridge door, so I got an additional 50 cents off. That made the price $3.49.

And then, Take Your Senior To Shop Day discount, an additional 10% off. Final price: $3.14.

Fuck yeah. Honestly, if I were American, I’d 100% be one of those extreme couponers. We don’t really get coupons like they have in the US though.

@CivilDev I don’t know yet. From what I’ve seen so far, I really like the improvements compared to Goodreads. The things I like so far are:
• Half star ratings!
• Online book clubs with discussion groups for each chapter
• Apparently it is better at building a profile of your past reading to suggest new books?
• You can download your data from Goodreads easily.

I’m making an effort to read more this year. I used to be an avid reader, but then I had to start being an adult and my attention span was shot (thanks #ADHD) and I stopped reading completely. But the news is awful and it’s hard to avoid it online, even when watching mindless content. So I’ve started using #GoodReads and #Fable but I don’t know anyone else active on either app. Does anyone on here use either app?
