@rvaughnmd @pluralistic God damn it! I specifically bought a Raleigh ebike with a Bosch electrical system so I could replace all the bike parts with off-the-shelf parts (which I do all the time at my local shop), and I wanted a battery manufacturer that would be in business when I needed a new one (which I did last year).

Good thing my bike is 5+ years old; I think they can only implement this "feature" for the battery and motor. God forbid I have to buy a Bosch chain or cassette.
