Another plentiful eagle day along the Iowa river yesterday. Been advised by folks on the trail that there are even more in the early mornings so I'll be back to soon.

Well, I'm not sure about that. They do get to fly for the first (/last) time ‍️ . I'd think that might change their perspective but I agree it's unlikely there's a queue to do so .

It's astonishing to watch a large bird like a bald eagle spot fish, hover, & turn on a dime above a relatively small area open water. Especially given the large # of eagles we have right now in addition to the large # of waterfowl.
