UK Prime Minister Starmer seeks support for international X ban@WiteWulf @mihamarkic @eunews and that is another reason why we should target the people who put "follow us on X" links on their web pages and ask them to close their X accounts and remove those links. They can threaten "sanctions" against the UK and other state actors and scream blue murder about "freedom of speech" over bans, but they won't have a leg to stand on when accounts use that freedom to voluntarily close their accounts and disassociate themselves from the platform.

UK Prime Minister Starmer seeks support for international X ban@eunews seriously wtf.... countries should just ban that site, period. Why look for "support"? Any country that has any decency should just unilaterally ban it. The momentum will build. Others will follow. Those who don't? Sod 'em.

It deals with major news outlets and political parties continuing to offer the option to people to follow them on "X":

When did you stop posting on X?@andrewstroehlein I closed my account WAY back, the moment I heard Elon Musk express his interest in buying Twitter. I never regretted that decision.
