@tantramar I have good memories of beans slow simmered with pork, bits of bacon, and maple syrup from Québec, in Montréal from a local shop. Now that I live in Toronto, I haven’t found a local establishment that slow cooks and sells only beans. I live alone, so making a big batch myself would be debilitating.
