@asterisk @marti @dansup this sounds like a deep misconception about the goals of these projects and a key pillar of fediverse resilience: separation of concerns and proliferation of services and instances of those services. The thing you think is a bug is actually an incredibly desirable feature. It keeps us safe from One Ring to Rule Them All.

@eniko hacking Nibbles with teleportation portals, power-ups, barriers, different wall types (bouncy walls!) and other stuff is what got me into programming.

@DarkestKale there really is no defense against allegations. As a cyberstalking victim for 20 years, every person who critically engaged with my stalker's constant and wild accusations was a hero and a comfort. Don't enable abusers by uncritically accepting allegations.

It obeys no Platonic solids of belief, despite what the conceptual mind may try to argue. Do what gets you and your communities closer to liberation, health, and happiness.

Electoral politics is like dumpster diving, one tool in the kit of an adapting and evolving human living in radical agency. Use it when it would help, don't when it wouldn't.
