Was ich auch noch nicht wusste: Zum Fediversum gehört auch ein Dienst, auf dem man seine GPX-Dateien mit Beschreibungen und Fotos von Wanderungen, Radtouren und anderen Außenaktivitäten hochladen kann.@Erdrandbewohner Cool, danke für den Hinweis.

My "favorite" beetle is the Bombardier Beetle, who can defend himself by creating a chemical reaction which produces hot (>100°C) and toxic gases. For this purpose he has a dedicated reaction chamber at the back of his body where he brings two chemicals into reaction when threatened. I heard last week that the physics teacher of the daughter of one of my colleagues told the daughter that girls who do their nails don’t do physics.@freyablekman Besides this statement of the teacher being obviously nonsense, I would like to hear how he explains all this effects without physics...
