@mike805 @twobiscuits @benroyce @peterbrown @nuintari @Strandjunker You have to register, of course, but it should be automatic when you move to a new location.I think the difference is whether you have to explicitly register to vote, or if the government recognizes your new location either by a change of address on the driver's license , or your tax forms, etc.It should be easy to get added to a voting roll.

@Strandjunker I've been trying to get people to understand this for two years now. Do they act as if they're worried about losing power? NO. Do they act as if their rules will be in place forever and that they needn't worry about election results or the rule of law coming back to haunt them? YES. They have *no intention* of leaving office.

@Strandjunker That's a pretty astute observation. It's difficult for a genuinely nice person to fake being mean because it may hurt someone's feelings, which is contrary to their nature. But a mean person may well fake being nice as a way of manipulation, which is part of being mean.
