@cstross Just to be clear here, I think websites and apps just autoplaying content is not just an annoyance. It's an issue of consent. I want to be able to actively decide see which content I see and hear, and which content I don't. I should not be subjected to content I don't want to see or hear without me explicitly choosing (and with that, consenting) to do so.

@cstross Autoplay is annoying at the best of times. It is atrociously terrible at all other times.
