@trashpandaqc I self host the Matrix instance, so as admin am not very concerned but am aware of those issues. These are small, tight-knit communities I'm hosting. I agree about Signal and it's my preferred method of one-on-one conversations with friends and a few group chats with those same friends. The problem with Signal is it doesn't have close parity with Discord features, and I shit you not, people get scared when I suggest Signal because "only drug dealers and terrorists use it." [1/2]
