@rvaughnmd I feel this so hard. we are going to need to replace some appliances soon so went to a local store and I just said that I wanted something dumb. In fact I would pay extra for a fridge that only keeps things cold, and an oven with just a temp and timer using actual analog knobs That's its. That's all I want. Turns out, yeah, they exist and are waaaaay more expensive. At least the options they had.

If anyone had an recs for good, dumb appliances that aren't crazy expensive, please let me know.
