A bit more work on the bass guitar. The old internals were an active bass, needed 9V and were constantly noisy as well as one pickup wasn't working. Replacing it with just a simple jazz bass passive setup, passive pickups, two volume knobs and a single tone using 250 k ohm log pots. Did as much of the soldering as possible out of the guitar. Also lined the cavity with metal tape to help reduce interference due to RF. Did you know that the pickups will pick up signals from your mobile phone?
