@ai6yr even that’s an interesting point that I don’t know a lot about. I’ve used an si5351 which works just fine but I like understanding fundamentals

In an unrelated topic I regularly idly think about building a PLL from discrete components for a homebrew VFO mainly for understanding reasons but I have a lot more time to think about these things than do them

I once again wish I’d done electrical engineering for hobby purposes and then realise how cursed that thought is
