I have not yet found a way to short circuit this process:
1. start designing a talk/lecture/workshop
2. get 90% of the way done
3. decide I hate it
4. three days of depression
5. come up with a better format
6. remake a better talk essentially from scratch

Would love to skip #2 or even just #4
