Signal-boosting another community event on behalf of Knox United Church in Brandon!
"Decolonizing Sexuality and Gender Identity" is an event taking place on Saturday, May 23rd from 1pm to 3:30pm, at Knox United Church (451 18th St) in Brandon, Manitoba. Dr. James Makokis, a two-spirit Indigenous physician on a mission to raise awareness and create equal access for Indigenous 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, will be speaking.
All-ages event with free admission, but donations are welcome. Stay to mingle and share refreshments with presenters and attendees. Volunteers will be available to support any attendees wanting to explore the topic further.
