My mother (86) went into the hospital for “testing” and was there for four days. All they came up with was the conclusion she’d had a minor stroke sometime in the past with no symptoms. BIG bill, of course.
The day after she got home, she was rushed back to the hospital with a severe gastrointestinal viral infection. 🤨
Nosocomial infections are a serious problem, and in my opinion a scandal. In a building filled with sick people, better infection control should be the norm.
