We are very well aware of the fact that X for Grok is now offering a spicy mode showing explicit sexual content with some output generated with childlike images:

πŸ“Œ A detailed request for information on Grok has been sent to X, and we are reviewing the company’s responses.

πŸ“Œ X has been ordered to retain all internal documents and data concerning Grok’s features until the end of 2026.

The Digital Services Act is very clear:

In the EU, all platforms have to get their own house in order.

    @EUCommission
when Twitter is generating these images, the company is accountable and has to deal with the consequences.
European law enforcement should have shut it down ages ago.

@EUCommission childporn isn't spicy. Explicit pictures without consent isn't spicy. It's criminal. And you are still posting there.

@EUCommission It's well past the time when organisations like the EU should have abandoned X, as well as all other fascist controlled social media. When will you leave X ?

@hembrow @EUCommission Indeed and I can only hope UK Ofcom takes the same approach.

@EUCommission Spicy describes food not child abuse images. There’s an β€œedit” function on Mastodon which you may like to avail yourself of.

No, you didn't get the point.

Why are you still using that platform?

You support nazis and pedophiles. Why?

@EUCommission In the face or recent #chatcontrol stuff ( with similar reasoning ) I feel slight tingling of unease. I don't like AI, I don't like X ( or any other proprietary platform ) and I don't like abuse. But the way this argument was put together feels a bit odd.

That's curiously complicated wording, when you can just say "child sexual abuse material" (c.f. #ChatControl).

Please, folks: just leave X, and as you do so, use the powers the Commission has to raze it to the ground.

@EUCommission How about as a starting point you all leave the nazi bar, sorry that's what normal decent folk who don't post at Nazi Bar call X, you know that site that you're all still posting to, in fact you are all still paying money to be verified, so that you can post there...so you are ALL essentially funding the disgusting picture generation in the first place!

@EUCommission I hope there's a word missing, it ought to say: until the end of *January* 2026.

@EUCommission childporn isn't spicy. Explicit pictures without consent isn't spicy. It's criminal. And you are still posting there.

@joyandsadness @EUCommission Spot on. Calling what Musk has been encouraging on his platform β€˜spicy’ is incredibly insulting to his victims. He may hide behind Grok, but he is responsible.
