    I can't tell you the number of times I've seen someone in a medical drama use a defibrillator to restart the heart of a flatlined patient. This does not work.

      I can't tell you the number of times I've seen someone in a medical drama use a defibrillator to restart the heart of a flatlined patient. This does not work.

        @samanthabwriter @degroof oh goodness don't get me started on the flatline idiocy 🤪

        We ACHIEVE a flat line by defi. And then we hope the heart picks up its rhythm again.

        I can add to that the dramatic birth. (Especially when then a several months old perfectly clean baby is shown.)

          allied to that is declaring someone dead after vaguely holding their wrist and then NOT initiating CPR
