oh man, that is a 2'200 km day train connection with mostly higher speed rail?
for the four-day question: I agree, and it shouldn't be just the same route there and back again - that would definitely cost style points

And yes, I'm calling the faster bunch of german ICE services higher speed rail: as far as I'm aware, they max out at 160 km/h average speed. A pure 200km/h railroad would support 180 km/h averages with stops every 30 min
