@therivercrow I mean, it does specifically say it collects that information *if the user provides it*.. i.e. in a video they’ve made. I always assumed they were collecting that tbh. It recommends videos based on the ones you’ve already watched so it has to know something about the content of that video. IMO this isn’t really new it’s just more explicit.

@therivercrow It's not that you are wrong, but I think all these data brokers know everything there is to know about all of us, and it would be trivial for them to create lists of undesirables when they decide to, and no deleting a single all will change that.

No reason to not delete now though, of course. Better late than never, I guess. Just make sure there aren't any other apps ... or operating systems ... or hardware ... that are surveilling you, if it's a concern.

they were collecting this stuff before (even if just implicitly through the content people post) - cynically, this is just people realising because they all got notified about new ToS with the takeover of the US bit. I'm almost willing to bet the old ones said that same.
