After seeing the TikTok on using tealights to cook, I am on board. I make tealights out of dregs of larger candles. I've been thinking it was time for a candle-making day anyway. So today is the day.

Project photos as requested. The start was a collection of empty and half-empty tealight holders, 7 votives that were no longer useable and 5 jar candles that will be better as tealights. I really dislike pillars and votives. Some wonderful vanilla pillars have supported my tealight habit for years.

The result is 40 nice new tealights from salvaged pieces. The large chocolate jar candle was reduced to a smaller jar. I still have 4 jars to melt down next time.

Emptying and cleaning the holders is the worst part of the project. I could buy new ones, but prefer to recycle.
