I was starting to come up with a great plan! Estimating about 30 liters, which is about 400kg, which our floors could handle, and the price would be comparable to a bathroom remodel
@saraislet does she know that metallic mercury isnβt super hazardous to people, that itβs the organic compounds containing mercury that are the really bad stuff? And that all kinds of stuff will float in mercury!

Wait I want to hear more about this planWhat kind of pump do you need? How tall and how wide is a 30L mercury fountain? Were you thinking one spout or many? How will you keep out contaminants? Are there reactions you need to worry about?
