You shouldn't just put milk in your eyes for no damned reason because of bacteria, but at a protest where we're talking substances with several million SHU of capsaicin it's better than nothing. I have to wear gloves to handle my reapers, and I've gotten it in my eyes, and the milk does help alleviate that.

I’m so stuck on the amount of children teargassed. I cannot even imagine how traumatizing this must be.
There were so many children at the park earlier. There were thousands and thousands of people out. I didn’t see any children near the gate where I was standing but that didn’t even matter. The teargas reached the park, blocks away. More and more people are telling me their gas hardly worked.

Do you want to be temporarily blinded at a protest by listening to doctor or do you want keep fighting and listen to a pepper grower who is telling you to put the damned milk in your eyes? I've specifically heard this from doctors who provide aid at protests. I've also known plenty of doctors who are gardeners.Do what you like for your own part, I just felt it was better to counteract unsafe health advice.

The feds shot out a local residents window this evening with these munitions that they also shot at people. I’m not sure that I’ve seen these before, does anybody recognize? (Not my photos)
One kind of looks like a 40mm foam round but that wood looking stuff??

@alissaazar What happens when the wind changes and the gas blows into say, a Christian nationalist church event or a politician's $10,000 a plate dinner funded by a developer?

@alissaazar for accuracy's sake, mfg often refers to the manufactured date not expiry, I'm not an expert though
