It does, of course, rely on the big search engines like Google and Bing for results (it's expensive running comprehensive web crawlers).

@openrightsgroup DuckDuckGo works for me. Anonymous, and it's free unlike some of the other alternatives. It does, of course, rely on the big search engines like Google and Bing for results (it's expensive running comprehensive web crawlers).
