@ebooksyearn I realized that each (unpaid) substack has an rss feed and can be read in full without clicking. For creators with whom I carry no clout, this seems like a way to consume their output without supporting substack in any way... what do you think? any angles I'm missing?
(I do also try to get substackers to migrate!)

@combs following the RSS probably still shows as a metric in their dashboard so it is some level of support. But it's small enough that I wouldn't get upset about it. Others might

@ebooksyearn I figured their CDN isn't doing access.log, most don't seem to (hence the rise of js stuff like Omniture, then GA) ... but that is a very good point—thanks!!
