@openrightsgroup I've been using proton for years and I'm overall quite happy with them (excellent features and tools, fair Linux support...), but I'm less happy with their closed ecosystem and how locked in their platform I am now, and how it is difficult to integrate with other #FLOSS solutions. I wonder if there are other secure alternatives that arw better at that?

I've been using Thunderbird and my own email associated with my hosting quite successfully, I've also got a gmail account but run that through Thunderbird as well.
