      I'm always astonished by their ability to dance like they weigh nothing (Fred Astaire too). If I even attempted stuff like that, there'd be a hole through the floor.

      Remember being amazed by the one where Fred Astaire dances on the rotating set. The combination of dance skill, nerdery of the rotating set and skill of the filming is astounding. Also nicely silly in places. Hits many buttons.

                                      We're used to camera trickery now - at the time it must have wowed people.

                                      These days, they'd probably do it with CGI, where's the fun in that!
