    STUDY from Spain finds that healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) kill 3x more people than do auto accidents, and 50% of them are avoidable.

    The study does not discuss mitigations, but why do healthcare facilities—which already knew the dangers of nosocomial infections before the pandemic—continue to be so indifferent about protecting patients with #COVID19 continuing to surge multiple times a year?
