@rvaughnmd the car didn’t stop after hitting her, she did not receive medical treatment in the site of the accident: regardless that she is an MD, she was certainly shaken and limping.
I’ve been involved in a couple of accidents here in Santiago, with no open wounds, and the drivers did stop and took care of me.
It is very different in the US.

@wtrmt We are making some progress but it's very difficult. Shout out to Trailnet and Great Rivers Greenway for improving street safety and creating bike paths through the city (St. Louis) in a very conservative state (Missouri).
