Pretty much the only constant comfort and pleasure I have had throughout my life is sugarfree cola. I love the taste, I feel it makes my perpetually bad digestion a bit better (even if it makes my acid reflux a bit worse, prolly), it helps me eat more varied foods (I need to drink a lot when eating and water amplifies all the tastes, making aversions and such so much worse), the caffeine in it is gentler than coffee but still enough to give me a bit of a kick to allow me to function a bit better, and of course there's some dopamine boost too. But, it prolly isn't good for my health, it deffo isn't good for my teeth, as my dentist keeps telling me. And it costs money, even if I actually prefer the cheapest supermarket brand, whereas water would be free, or at least fixed cost for me. So, should I give up my cola or not?
