    Good morning!

We're up in the double digits this morning at 14F (-10C) and we're actually supposed to have a high temperature of 32F (0C). It's a heat wave!

Scrolling through my feed this morning, it struck me that we have no taboo swear words left. We have normalized the ones we had so that they barely raise an eyebrow any longer. The only truly taboo words we have in English these days are racial and ethnic slurs.

I mean, what am I supposed to say if I shut my hand in the car door? How do I express my rage and pain? With words that used to shock, but now are used in the most trivial of circumstances?

    It's a fucking shame.

Have a good one, my friends.

@joyce Something to ponder on a chilly day. I blame my military service for my occasional potty mouth. In times like these we need good swear words in abundance.
