I'm 38% through my #Storygraph book goal (78) for the year & 51% through my pages goal (20K) but STILL haven't got into my growing PTW of #kDrama #cDrama and #jDrama because I'm finding stuff like this just FAR too riveting to put down.

@bookstodon@ronsboy67 It's so fun to have competing interests like this. For me, it's a rotation of #reading, #sewing, #kdrama, #LanguageLearning, and #walking. Maybe swimming before long, since I do pool running every week, usually finishing with a couple of laps of swimming. My favourite 50M pool has reopened after being closed for renovations for 6 years. They also have a #bouldering wall, an abandoned interest, due to cost.

@EllenInEdmonton Yep, it's nice to be able to switch it up. I had such an insanely busy and physically exhausting first 2 weeks of the year that when I got back home and had the time for Dramas, I found I couldn't handle listening to languages I don't grok. So I read instead, and listened only to music in languages I know. I'm feeling ready to knuckle down and tackle my PTW after the weekend now

@ronsboy67 Haha, these days I reassure myself that I’ll pick things up again when the time is right. I just got back to #sewing this week for the first time in months, but I’ve had 5 book club meetings scheduled for last month and this one, so I’ve been reading plenty as I do my January organization blitz.

And actually, I keep a "Create" notebook to record the sewing I do, particularly to highlight modifications I've made. I see that I already sewn a handful of times in January, so it just feels like I've been away from it for a while. -
