I recently download a free image from StockCake and added it to an art piece I am working on. I went back to StockCake to take a look and noticed the "AI" tag and although the image worked in my composition I decided to remove it from my piece and pay for an actual picture by an actual human being/photographer on iStock/Gettyimage that also worked. I put too much effort and thoughts even in my image research to use AI generated images. They completely defy the purpose of creating art pieces in my opinion. To all photographers out there, I pay to use your images and value your work of capturing images for me to work with.

@digitalart_jason if you haven't tried Unsplash and Pixabay they can be useful for free and licensed images - filters, no-AI switch etc.
