HPV causes nearly all cervical cancer + also causes throat, anal, vulvar, vaginal & penile cancers. HPV vaccines cut risk by 90%+ and are given at 11–12 y/o.

Boys need it too β€” HPV throat cancer hits men hardest. Cancer prevention exists. Use it. πŸ’‰ #cancer https://www.nationalgeographic.com/health/article/what-is-hpv-human-papillomavirus-myths?utm_source=chatgpt.com

@kzodasnowman @cbarbermd I'm aware, the charity I work for funded the study showing that vaccination reduces cervical cancer rates for women in their 20s who were offered it age 12-13. And I know the Prof who ran it from my PhD campus! Indeed I helped nominate him for a royal honour for his various screening and prevention achievements, which wasovely (much as I despise royals and find the honours system largely archaic and pointless, tangent).

So yes, supposed MDs (and 'journalists'!) using ChatGPT to ask medical questions concerns me.
